Nicolaus Amatus Fecit Czech violin circa 1950
Regular price $ 4,000.00
Following in the long tradition of violin making in Eastern Europe, this beautiful violin hails from former Czechoslovakia and represents the best workshop efforts of the time. The 2-piece highly flamed maple back compliments the tight grained spruce top. Most likely made in the 1950s, this violin allows an advancing student to hear what advanced music is supposed to sound like through a superbly complex tone and richness only found in well-seasoned wood.
