Genzler Acoustic Array Amplifiers - 4 and 5 string electrics and acoustic electric violin and violas

We play test every amplifier to be sure it is the perfect fit with electric bowed strings.  We also look for amps that are compact and easy to transport.  We aren't guitar and electric bass players - we aren't used to carrying a lot of extra gear, so the Genzler Acoustic Array MINI was our choice although its big brother, the PRO, is also an incredible amplifier with more plug in options and some serious power.  Key to both the Genzler PRO and the MINI are the onboard effects so you don't need pedals - reverb and chorus controls allow you to dial in all the warmth to your sound you want.  These are professional performance amplifiers with lots of headroom and 2 channels in case you need a microphone too.

Best for:  4 and 5 string acoustic and solid body electric violins and violas

Choose if:  You want an easy way to dial up effects and enough volume to perform in small and medium venues with a pro level sound.

Skip if:  You use distortion pedals or need range below the viola C string
